Wow...I'm a big fan of this song. It's not exactly new, but I just heard it the other day and it was just recently made available on Beatport by Dimitri Vangelis & Wyman. So check it out below and then go support them here on Beatport.
Sorry to all who have heard/seen this before. I thought I had posted this a while ago and realized I never did. So here is the official video for Harris' newest single. Interesting video that kept my interest throughout and I am rarely disappointed in his sound. Check it out below and enjoy!
Big fan of this song. Not much else to say aside from how awesome I think this is. Jamming to it as I write this post. The Beast definitely beasts! Check it out below and enjoy!
Also, support Myers and purchase this track on Beatport.
Two big names combine to create a real banger here in Human. I'm a big fan of this even though the drop could have been a little better in my opinion. A little different, intensity wise, from what I was expecting considering their pasts. Having said that, I am enjoying it and think you will too. Take a listen below and enjoy!
This is an extremely bizarre music video, but I had heard I should check it out so I followed through with it. The song itself is not my favorite, but some people are raving about it. The real attraction here is the video though. I don't personally like it that much and I think it is super weird, but it is also interesting and had me watching until the end to see if they would explain what was going on (they didn't). Check it out below and enjoy!
This is a cool song with a cool music video. I'm always a fan of watching these videos of the crowds going wild for these guys/girls. Not anything off the charts here, but I definitely think it is worth a listen and a watch. Catch it below and enjoy!
I have got to say that Clinton Sparks does absolutely NOTHING in this song for me, but his contributions towards the music video are pretty tight. While not the happiest story ever told, I found myself interested in the take Sparks chose for Porter Robinson's Language. Check it out below and enjoy!
Reporting via Dancing Astronaut, apparently David Guetta has opened an airport club in the Ibiza airport. This seems crazy to me and does not seem very financially intelligent, but I also know better than to doubt this guy's vision. I suppose we'll see what happens!
After hearing this most recent Moombahton remix of Rise & Fall, I was prompted to just make a mass post to let yall listen to all of these at once and compare/contrast for yourselves. Take a listen below and let me know what yall think!
As the epicness that is Tomorrowland approaches this weekend, please enjoy the festival's anthem. Listen below to the production from Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike. Additionally, don't forget that you can stream Tomorrowland live if you are one of the many who could not make the trek to see it in person this year. Check out a previous post here for more information.
So while I am a fan of Will.I.Am's original song here with Eva Simons, the remix by Sidney Samson REALLY got my attention. According to Dancing Astronaut, the full EP (with remixes including Afrojack) is going to come out on August 7th. Take a listen to both versions below and enjoy!
Had high hopes for this song with the build up and the vocals, but then I heard the drop. ( ._.) Unbelievably underwhelming drop for this song and I'm hoping that these two are either kidding with that being the main drop or they are planning on changing it. Everything else I heard in this very short preview was great though. Take a look and keep your eyes out for the full version to drop soon on July 31st.
Do everyone a favor and download these tracks. All you need to do is go Like his Facebook page and you can get anything he posts for free. This guy has a good vibe to his mashups and I like that it's not going a million miles per hour too. Enjoy below.
So Finale is out...what a year for Madeon, the 18-year-old phenom from France. Some are calling this their anthem of the summer...I'm not sure I agree, but I can understand why they might proclaim such a thing. Track is good so take a listen and enjoy below.
Identity Festival 2012 and Dancing Astronaut have teamed up to bring fans a giveaway of epic proportions. Quote from the Dancing Astronaut post on their site tells fans what they have the opportunity to win:
"Two lucky winners will win a pair of general admission tickets to any Identity date of their choice (not including San Francisco, San Diego, or New York), an iHome iP4 boombox, a Remix watch, and some other miscellaneous rave goodies."
Go here to see the DA post and enter to win your "rave goodies". I'm a little late on this so you only have one day to get your entries in. Giterdun now!
Some fun songs that have been released recently over in the UK, including a theme song for the cycling portion of the Olympics from The Chemical Brothers. Check em out and enjoy!
(1) The Chemical Brothers - Theme From Velodrome
(2) Hot Chip - Look at Where We Are (Major Lazer vs Junior Blender Remix)
Another remix of Zedd's hit Spectrum. This is a fun rendition and it's definitely worth a listen, but it's nothing earth shattering. Check it out below.
Everything this guy produces is good so no surprises here. Takes the vocals from the chorus in In My Mind (Axwell Remix) and plugs them into this smooth, relaxed dubstep feel. Nothing to murder zombies to, but its got a good summer feel to me.
I know this isn't a new track by any stretch of the imagination, but I was listening to it the other evening and decided I'd post it up here at some point. This is probably my favorite of the remixes I have heard from Tiesto's Club Life Vol. 2 so, if you haven't already heard this track, take a listen and let me know what you think!
This track by Klaypex called "Hit Me" just came across my lap here a few minutes ago...all I've got to say is WOAH! I was getting sleepy, but not anymore. Consider this added to my rage playlist haha.
So here are a couple bangers I was recently made aware of via some friends on Facebook. The Zomboy remix is not a free download, but the other two are. Enjoy below :)!
(1) Jakwob - Let It Fall
(2) Flux Pavilion - Bass Cannon (Zomboy Remix)
(3) DC Breaks - Move Closer (Feat. Belle Humble) (Dubstep VIP)
This is a super interesting video that almost made me forget about the song. Having said that, the song is enjoyable with a sort of dark vibe to it. Mark Knight does a good job as usual and whoever made this video really helped the song out because it makes it THAT much more interesting to me...make sure you watch til the end for a little understanding haha.
Yet AGAIN, another potential track of the summer! What a day for "releases" in edm @_@! This one was originally dropped at UMF 2012 and the crowd went bonkers from what I've heard. Afrojack knows he has money in the bag with this one and I plan on him milking it for everything it's worth. Listen to this below and try not to enjoy yourself.
Another potential track of Summer 2012? Again, some are saying so. This is a pretty epic track that I can definitely dance and party to so I'm not mad about the praise. It is getting super reviews from everyone and the UMF crowd apparently loved it. Apparently the vocal mix won't be available until August 6th, but we can enjoy the "instrumental" until then can't we? No...but thankfully we have this video to hit replay on a million times I guess...
And the SoundCloud version without lyrics if you are so inclined:
Some are proclaiming this the "anthem of summer 2012", but I'm not sold on that much of an assertion. Don't get me wrong, this track is awesome and I will definitely be playing it frequently this summer. However, I believe it's just because of my obsession with YONAS' The Transition mixtape that this will not be my summer 2012 jam. If you prefer EDM to Hip-Hop, then this might end up being your track for the summer because it is VERY good.
Can't make the trip to Belgium to see Tomorrowland live? Never fear...Tomorrowland and YouTube have partnered to bring every fan around the world the live Tomorrowland experience for 7 hours a day, all three days. I'm thinking I will tune in for an hour or two each day to see what this year has to offer us. After the success of last year's recap video on YouTube, I doubt anyone will be left not wanting to make the trek to Belgium next year.
Wow is all I can say to this...makes me really wish I had gone...and makes me think I may just need to FIND A WAY to go next time. To stream the movie go here or (I think) you can just click on the YouTube video below, but they want you to "pay" for the streaming with a Like or a Tweet. Enjoy @_@!
The Mafia may have missed the proclaimed debut of this track at Coachella, but the track that will make "grown men cry" has now been released upon the world across the pond for us all to hear. Hope you enjoy the live rip and look forward to the official track being released VERY soon.
I think I am going to try to make this something I do every week and see how it works out. The following songs on this post have been shared with us courtesy of Orion Music Network. The styles are varied, but I think the quality will speak for itself once you give these bad boys a listen to. Check the music out below:
(2) Kannamix - Without You (Disclaimer: did not receive this track from Orion Music Network)
(3) Apparitions - Burn Alive (Skullee Remix)
(4) Fossi Figo - Tiro a Campari (scutheotaku Remix)
(5) Mosen - Sax And The City (FTampa Remix)
(6) Tulisa - Young (Breeze and Modulate Remix)
These tunes are a good start if you ask me. If Orion keeps sending the tracks, I'll keep posting a selection of them on here for your entertainment every Sunday. If you enjoyed what you heard here please don't hesitate to let me know in the comments. Please also subscribe to Orion Music Network on YouTube here and Like them on Facebook here.
Here are two announcements I recently came across wandering on the Dancing Astronaut site:
(1) Wednesday, July 11, 2012 marks UMF TV's launch with an Avicii video and then on Sunday, July 15, 2012, they will have a free streaming of "Can You Feel It" video. Check it out...
(2) Dayglow announces the E.N.D. (Electronic Never Dies) tour with promises of EVEN MORE PAINT than before. Check out the video below in the link with the phase one tour dates included...
I'm a big fan of the production value that Calvin Harris brings to this song to make it into a solid edm track. The vocals of Florence + The Machine go really well with what C.H. does in his productions. Take a listen to it below on the YouTube link I have provided...something that will probably be heard with increasing frequency now that it is available on iTunes for download.
The recently released "Everything" from EDX and Hadley now has a music video to go along with the music. The video is shot at the Marquee Nightclub in Las Vegas, which is a very fun venue if you ever get the chance to go there. Fun music with a fun video. Check it out.
